Yesterday we went with Kelly's cousin to the SFMOMA, which is doing an exhibit on the similarities between Georgia O'Keefe and Ansel Adams. (Spoiler warning: They both had a knack for making nature scenes look like someone's vajayjay.)
The lady at the front desk charged us $60 for three adults ($20 apiece). But then she noticed Elliot in his stroller. "Are you with him?" she asked. When we said yes, she decided to let us all in for $15...total! What the heck?
At first I thought Elliot must have amazing connections in this city. (Do you think he knows Willie Brown?) But it turns out the museum was doing a "family day" promotion.
It seems odd that they want to attract people who would rather lick the art than look at it. Not that I'm complaining.
